Kimberly is a dedicated non-profit professional with a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and community engagement for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She brings a person-centered approach to her work, supporting individuals as they explore their interests, build relationships, and participate fully in community life.
Most recently, Kimberly worked as a Program Instructor at AbilityPath, where she supported adults with IDD through community-based programs designed to foster independence, social connection, and personal achievement. In this role, she developed activity calendars aligned with participant goals, coordinated community events and outings, and created opportunities for engagement both within the program and in the broader community. Her direct work with individuals of diverse abilities strengthened her commitment to inclusion, growth, and lifelong learning.
Kimberly has a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, East Bay. Her professional background also includes supporting children with behavioral support needs at Trumpet Behavioral Health as well as designing meaningful and educational experiences for children through the City of Pacifica childcare program.
She also brings experience in community service and youth leadership. Through her work with St. Vincent de Paul, St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, and the Lifeforce Initiative Fellowship at Genesis Healing Institute, she has contributed to efforts centered on community engagement, mentorship, and care.
As Enrichment Coordinator at Big Wave, Kimberly is excited to help cultivate a vibrant and welcoming community where residents can build friendships, explore new interests, and experience a strong sense of belonging.
Outside of her professional work, Kimberly loves joining new arts and craft events throughout the Bay Area, hanging out with her family, and being a dog mom to her Great Pyrenees.
