Why build the Office Park? |

Dedicated to the Coastside community and the environment, Big Wave seeks to create an opportunity for local residents to obtain local, high-paying, professional jobs in a LEED certified, aesthetically pleasing office space. Doing so will eliminate the environmentally damaging and increasingly frustrating commute that so many Coastside residents experience on a daily basis as well as provide employment opportunities to college graduates from the Coastside who wish to live and work where they were raised.
The Office Park will contribute substantial donations to the Wellness Center, greatly reducing each resident’s cost of living to one that is reasonable for any disabled person on a limited income. The only way to sustain a project like Big Wave is to privately supplement the cost to each resident. The Office Park is a way to subsidize the Wellness Center while benefiting the local community. |

What amenities will the Office Park offer businesses? |

The Business Park will be located in a beautiful setting with offices that meet the highest LEED certification by minimizing their footprint on the environment. Businesses will have the opportunity to save money and protect the natural environment with the recycling of all water and the generation of renewable power onsite.
The renewable power will be a combination of solar power, wind power and fuel cells. Heating will be solar powered and cooling will be geothermal (without refrigerants). Water consumption will be reduced by more than 30% with the use of recycled water. The cost of clean energy generated onsite will be guaranteed at rates lower than commercial power.
Businesses of the Office Park will benefit from the high capacity, redundant, and renewable energy-powered telecom link that Big Wave will construct to provide significant internet and data transmission capabilities.
Wellness Center residents will offer Office Park employees the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown, organic produce at the Business Park.
Big Wave will operate a shuttle service to park and ride spots for local residents and provide credits for bicycle purchases to Office Park employees.
The Big Wave Office Park will be the model of a modern and sustainable professional environment. |
